Andy’s Blog

Hey,
How’s it going? I understand Mark has been doing a remarkable job of keeping people informed about what is going on with me, but I wanted to just let you know how much I appreciate your support.
I’ve been in prison for a little over 1½ years now, which sucks!! However the knowledge that so many people are out there backing me up and fighting for justice gives me great hope and strength and makes a huge difference – YOU make a huge difference. Thank you.
I believe the Justice for Andy Martin MySpace and Facebook pages are up and running so please check them out and if you haven’t already done so, add yourself as a friend/supporter.
The Miscarriages of Justice Organisation is now involved and has taken on my case, as is Martin Salter MP. So now the serious campaigning starts. We have various people looking into getting publicity for my plight (press & TV), so if you have any contacts, please contact those contacts and point them to this website or Mark.
JUSTICE JAM II “the sequel” is looking set to be a really good evening (next Saturday – 4th April 2009). More top bands and techies are giving their time and talent to raise some cash and awareness for the campaign, so if you can make it, please do, and drag some mates along!
I’ve always hated asking for help, but frankly I hate prison way more! Wrongful imprisonment is an unimaginable experience and prison is NOT the holiday camp the daily mail would have you believe.
It seems the only thing that makes the authorities pay attention to miscarriage of justice cases is numbers – lots of people making noise and getting lots of publicity. So please continue to be one of those noisy, irritating people, and help to get me ‘the hell outta here’. Thank you again.
Andy x
P.S. – I am told that there are some really embarrassing photos of me on the web sites – so enjoy those!! At least the Rocky Horror photos are well hidden!
